Q: How do you make an easy lasagna recipe?
I need an easy lasagna recipe. I have the ground beef, noodles, and cheese. I’ve researched several, but they all call for several different spices – and I don’t want to buy these spices for 1 recipe.

A: the spices make the wonderful taste, but I guess you could make it without the spices.
you do need a tomato sauce maybe you have one with spices in it already……
if not use whole can of tomatoes, I small can tomato paste, add garlic(crushed or powder(1tsp) , salt and pepper…bay leaf it you have it
and simmer 30 minutes…..
Cook your noodles and drain,
put 2 tblsp oil in large pot and put on med heat,
toss in slices onions(1/2 cup) and brown for 3 min, toss in raw meat and brown, till cooked, salt and pepper meat,
add 1 can mushrooms with the liquid to meat mix, nezxt add your tomato sauce combination or your can of tomato sauce.
turn down and let simmer 20 minutes.
get a large lasagne pan or 9 x 12 pan.
put half the cooked meat mixture on the bottom
they a layer and 1/2 of noodles.
then make a mixture of 1 tub of cottage cheese,( or grated mozzarella 1 1/2 cup) add 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, salt and pepper and 1 egg, mix up well if you have spinach, you can drain and chop it up and mix into the cheese mixture then spread,
Cover that with another layer of noodles, then the remainder of the cooked mixture.
bake at 350 degrees for 45 min, then take out and sprinkel shredded mozzarella cheese on top and put back in over for 15 more min
bon apetito…

Q: Old Bob Evans Easy Lasagna Recipe? Out of the old cook book, which asks for ricotta cheese flavored with herb?
This is not the latest recipe listed on the web and website. An old Bob Evans recipe that calls for the ricotta to be spiced with oregano and/or basil. I lost the cook book! Please save me!
Thank you, “Quite New At This”, but I must be a dinosaur. I’m looking for the recipe that specifically adds herbs to the ricotta, and there is no parmesan cheese. My husband swears it also requires marinara sauce. AGH! Got the cookbook years ago in Ohio. So. The recipe does not require “chunky” sauce of any sort. No parmesan. I’ve searched and searched the web! Agh, again!

I guess when I say old recipe I should let people know just how old!!!

A: I know that this is not the recipe you are looking for, but if you subsitute Bob Evans sausage for the ground beef, leave out the Parmesan, and subsitute more Mozzarella for the Provolone it might be pretty close.

Q: Need easy recipe for lasagna?
Can anybody give me a easy recipe for lasagna. I’m not a very good cook, but my whole family loves lasagna. Please help. I’ve also heard some people say not to cook the noodles before putting them in the dish and some people say to cook them first, which way is better?

A: An easy recipe for making lasagna is this: it is actually a recipe from a kid’s cookbook and is SUPER EASY , fast and way way better than store bought:

12 oz ground beef (cook till browned and then drain with your colander)
2 1/2 cups of jar spaghetti sauce
6 lasagna noodles (plain, everyday noodles DO NOT COOK them as the liquid of the sauce will do that for you)
1 1/2 cups of cottage cheese
1 1/2 cups of shredded mozzarella (6 oz or so)
2 Tbsp grated parmesan cheese optional

Cook your ground beef until done (I season mine with oregano, little s and pepper, minced onion)
Drain it
Spoon enough sauce into your 13×9 to cover the bottom of the pan.
Pour rest of sauce into the meat. Stir.
Place 2 UNCOOKED noodles into bottom of pan.
Spread about 1/3 of your meat/sauce mix over those.
3/4 cup of cottage cheese over that.
Then sprinkle 1/2 cup of your mozzarella over the cottage cheese you just put on.

Add another 2 uncooked noodles, again 1/3rd of meat mixture, then rest of cottage cheese and 1/2 cup of mozzarella again. Layer remaining uncooked noodles, meat mixture and your cheese.

Cover tightly with foil. Put into your preheated 350 degree oven and allow to cook 1 hour. THEN let cool 15 min on cooling rack if you have one. This makes it slice without running all over the plate.

Do not be intimidate by this recipe it is not time consuming and it is easy! Your family will love this one! And don’t buy special no cook noodles or spend time cooking them – total waste as there is no need. I even make manicotti without cooking the noodles! :)

Q: I am looking for an easy lasagna recipe using Italian sausage.?
I want to make lasagna with italian sausage. My family is not a huge fan of onions, peppers or tomato chunks. I want something that is really meaty, cheesy, and saucy. And fairly easy to make. I usually am a good cook, but I have never attempted lasagna. Any ideas?

1 container (16 ounces) part-skim ricotta cheese
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
12 uncooked lasagna noodles (12 oz)
Preparation:
Cook sausage and onion in a skillet over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until sausage is no longer pink; drain well. Stir in tomato sauce, basil, oregano, and salt.
In a bowl, combine 2 cups of the shredded Mozzarella cheese, the ricotta cheese, and Parmesan cheese.
Spoon 1/4 of the sausage mixture into 3 1/2 to 5-quart crockpot; top with 4 lasagna noodles broken into pieces to fit. Top with half the cheese mixture and 1/4 of the sausage mixture. 3 Cook the noodles as directed on package.
4 While noodles are cooking, combine ricotta, parmesan, parsley flakes, beaten eggs, salt and pepper.
5 Spread a thin layer of sauce on bottom of pan. Place half the noodles into a 13×9x2 pan that was sprayed with cooking spray. Spread 1/2 the ricotta mixture over noodles. Cover with 1/2 mozzarella. If you go to: http//www.dlife.com you can look up almost any recipe and you can put in the number of servings you want to make, and it will give you the amount of needed ingredients for that number of servings. It also gives you the nutritional information as well. Good Luck.

1/2 egg means half of a beaten egg.

Q: i need an easy lasagna recipe?
I need a recipe for lasagna, that is simple. I just moved out and want to make lasagna, but not sure of a good simple recipe for it.

A: I never put egg in my lasagna. Its really easy to make. I use store bought spaghetti sauce but I add ground beef, sauteed mushrooms, onion, garlic and green pepper. Boil a box of lasagna noodles until el dente. For the cheese I grate lots of mozzerella and a little cheddar and mix them together. Just spread a layer of noodles out in the pan. Add a layers of sauce and a layer of cheese. Repeat the layers as many times until you reach the top of the pan. Sometimes I will make one of the layers in the middle cottage cheese and sometimes spinach as well. Bake in the oven at 350 for 30-45 mins…until you see the sauce bubbling. Let it sit for a good 5-10 min to set up before you cut into it.

You can substitute poultry or pork for the beef.
Try looking for a commercial supermarket verses a street market for ingredients.

Q: Easy Lasagna recipe like thay cook in uk pubs?
HI IM LOOKING FOR A LASAGNA RECIPE LIKE HOW THAY DO IT IN UK PUBS SIMPLE AND EASY PLZ

A: Try the following

Lasagne
1lb of ground beef
Half a white onion
A quarter of a red onion
3-4 cloves fresh garlic
24oz of tomato sauce
9 strips of uncooked Lasagne pasta
1 teaspoon of basil
1 tablespoon of oregano
Salt and pepper to taste
1 pack of Mozzarella cheese, grated
2 eggs
12oz of Ricotta cheese
A quarter cup of grated Parmesan cheese
Method

Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C, Gas Mark 4).

Dice up all the onions and garlic, and sauté in a large saucepan (a big cast-iron skillet works well) for a few minutes, then crumble in the ground beef. Brown the beef/onion mixture, adding basil and oregano. When ground beef is well browned, drain off any excess grease, add the tomato sauce, and simmer, adding salt and pepper to taste.

While the sauce is simmering, in a bowl, mix the Ricotta cheese, the two whole eggs, and the Parmesan cheese all together, stirring well. Take a baking dish (preferably close in size to 13″ x 9″, or 12″ x 7″) and brush lightly with oil (this makes clean-up easier!). Cover bottom of baking dish thinly with tomato/meat sauce. Cover this with uncooked lasagne – should be three pieces lengthwise. On top of the Lasagna add more meat sauce, and a layer of the Ricotta cheese mixture. Sprinkle grated Mozzarella cheese over this. Lay another layer of pasta and repeat layering. On top of the second layer add Lasagne, what is left of the meat sauce, and the remainder of the Mozzarella. Cover the dish with baking foil, and bake for 30-40 minutes, until brown and bubbling.

Q: Does anyone know a great quick and easy lasagna recipe?!?

A: prep is quick, but you have to wait for the noodles to soak in the sauce. i usually make it the night before.

I don’t know amounts, I just make it with what I have. I use a 9×9 cooking dish. That makes 9 decent size pieces.

16 oz ricotta cheese (you will use less)
1 lb mozzarella cheese (probably use all)
some Parmesan cheese (use maybe a cup at the most)
at least a half pound ground beef (optional)
2 large jars of sauce (not the family size, but a big jar) of pasta sauce (you will use one up, so you need the second one)
lasagna noodles, uncooked

brown and drain beef, if you choose to include it
layer the bottom of 9×9 dish with pasta sauce
Put in 3 noodles facing the same way (break to size)
cover with more sauce (enough to cover noodles)
shake some Parmesan cheese on sauce
in four corners and center, put one spoonful of ricotta in each
in four center places (where ricotta is not), put one spoonful of meat in each
sprinkle with mozzarella cheese
place 3 noodles facing other direction side by side
cover with sauce, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese
now put the meat in the four corners and center, and the ricotta in the four center spots, and sprinkle with mozzarella
keep alternating these things until you just about reach the top of the pan. finish with noodles, drown it in sauce, sprinkle with mozzarella. Cover and refrigerate.

It will need several hours (about 10-12) to soak in the sauce and make the noodles soft.

If you have a glass pan, cover with aluminum foil and put it in the COOL oven about 35-40 minutes before you want to eat. Let it heat up with the oven. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes or until the sauce is bubbling.

A: May I suggest delivery from the nearest Italian restaurant?

Q: What are some simple easy lasagna recipes?
an easy recipe for lasagna.

A: I cooked for a guy who is really picky so I started making a simple lasagna. Use a 9×13 dish (or smaller square dish and just cut pasta in half). Cook 1lb ground chuck and drain off fat. Cook 6 pieces of lasagna pasta. Mix pre-seasoned sauce like Ragu into meat but don’t use the whole jar. Just enough to moisten the meat with little extra. Spray a little non-stick in your dish and lay down 3 pasta pieces to cover the bottom. Then lay half the meat to cover pasta. Next spread a layer of casserole shredded cheese (it’s a combination of cheeses). Repeat pasta, meat and cheese. Put in a 375 degree oven until cheese is melted.

If you want to add a little extra you can add in a light layer of cottage cheese or ricotta cheese between the meat and shredded cheese.

It’s very yummy, cheap, and easy to make.
