Q: Can someone please advise me on this Chocolate Biscuit Pudding recipe?
I’m planning a Mother’s Day breakfast, and am looking for recipes to make, and one thing I found and am considering, is, this Chocolate Biscuit Pudding
http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Chocolate-B…
It sounds like it would be good, but there aren’t any reviews and I’m not very experienced about this sort of thing, being able to tell if it would be any good. Also, if you do think it sounds good, would the biscuits have to be a day old? I have to do all the cooking Saturday night so could I make the biscuits then, and once they cooled use them?
A: The allrecipes one looks great. I found this one too and it sounds divine.

Q: Does anyone have a Vegan BRITISH Yorkshire Pudding recipe? I don’t mean the AMERICAN biscuit thing.?
I am fed up with the American biscuit “yorkshire pudding” thing that came out of my oven twice after following the recipe on the internet.
I need the recipe for the British British Yorkshire pudding.
Thanks
A: Yorkshire Puddings
3 oz (85g) white fat
4 oz (115g) self raising flour
pinch salt (fine)
½ pint (280 ml) soya milk
2 oz (55g) whole egg replacer
1. Preheat the oven to highest temp, 220°C/425°F/Gas Mark 7.
2. Put 1 tsp fat in each compartment on a bun tray with 12 compartments. Put the tray near the top of the oven with a baking tray underneath to catch drips.
3. Mix the flour and salt with a hand whisk very thoroughly. Mix the egg replacer into a smooth paste with about 2 fluid ounces/60 ml of water. Mix this in with the milk in a jug.
4. Once it is ready to go in the oven i.e when the oven and fat are very hot (this will take at least 10 mins) add half of the liquid to the dry mix. Mix it into a smooth batter (paste) then add the remaining liquid. It should be like cream, if it’s too thick add more liquid.
5. Transfer the batter to a jug and fill each compartment to the top. It should sizzle as it goes in. Do this as quickly as possible before the heat gets out. Cook for 15-20 mins.
Q: Recipe for school pudding i used to have.. it looked like chocolate short cake/biscuit?

Q: Does anyone have a vegan Yorkshire pudding recipe?
I think this is an indigenous British thing, I think the nearest USA equivallent would be ‘biscuits’.
No wonder we Irish have a bad name!!
Serious answers only !!!
Hi whoosher, my normal vegan egg replacement for cakes etc. is apple juice. I can’t get enrG egg replacer at Holland and Barrett. I tried using just flour and oatmilk but it wasn’t quite right.
A: Can’t you just use a ‘normal’ recipe but use soy milk instead of cow’s milk and replace the egg with one of the following suggestions from the Vegan Society website:
• 1 tbsp gram (chick pea) or soya flour and 1 tbsp water
• 1 tbsp arrowroot, 1 tbsp soya flour and 2 tbsp water
• 2 tbsp flour, ½ tbsp shortening, ½ tsp baking powder and 2 tsp water
• 50g tofu blended with the liquid portion of the recipe
• ½ large banana, mashed
• 50 ml white sauce
Maybe not the banana, unless you’re making sweet Yorkshire puds!

A: Why not talk about the history of pudding, see below(and the website below in source):
What is pudding?
The history of pudding is a complicated topic. Why? Though time, many different kinds of foods have been known by this name. The creamy, rich pudding dessert we (Americans) think of today is more closely related to custard. The history of custard is likewise ancient. This food followed a separate, though parallel, path that managed to converge with pudding in 19th century America.
You could also tell some pudding jokes, see the 2nd website below about the ‘Chocolate Pudding Guy’, the time will fly and keep everyone rivetted.
Remember to think outside the square!! Have fun

Q: please I need a simple recipe for fridge cake using only milk, petit beurre biscuits ligt pudding cream ,jelly?
A: Here is a really good recipe that my family LOVES!
What you need:
Chocolate Frosting
Graham Crackers
1or 2 boxes of Chocolate Pudding
Milk for pudding
Square Glass Dish
Here is a fridge cake that you can make from your ingredients. It is tasty and so easy to make.
How To Prepare
Take the petit beurre biscuits and break then in half so they are square in shape. Put them in a single layer on the bottom of a square dish.
Make the pudding. If using instant vanilla pudding, add milk to the boxed pudding mix, whisk with an electric mixer, and refrigerate. Put a layer of the pudding on top of the petit beurre biscuits. Add a layer of jelly (or you may use ripe bananas). Then put another layer of biscuits on top, followed by another layer of pudding and jelly (or ro[e bananas). Then put one last layer of biscuits on top followed by a layer of pudding and jelly (or ripe bananas).
Place in the refrigerator for one hour and the biscuits will get soft like cake so that you can cut it into individual pieces. Use a spatula to place on plates. Or else, you can scoop out the mix with a large spoon and place it on plates to serve.

Or if you know where i could find a list of the recipes from the show
A: How To Make Banoffee Pie
List of ingredients and cooking directions to make an easy Banoffee Pie to serve four people
250mls of condensed milk
10 digestive biscuits
3 large peeled and sliced bananas
150mls of whipped cream
50g of melted butter
Optional Topping Ingredients
Grated chocolate
Ground almonds
This easy to make banoffee pie recipe is for the sweet that is widely recognised throughout the UK.
Place the unopened can of condensed milk into a pan of boiling water so that it is submerged.
Boil for 3 hours, ensuring that you top up the boiling water so that the can remains covered in water.
This will make the toffee.
Remove from the pan and allow to cool down before opening the can. That is the traditional way to make banoffee pie but it has been known for the tins to explode in the kitchen, especially since it is unopened and boiled for so long
. Uttertrivia would highly recommend buying pre made toffee filling for the banoffee pie because of this risk.
Crush the biscuits to a crumble.
Add the butter and mix.
Open the can of condensed milk and blend this toffee mixture with the bananas.
Q: Anybody know this cake recipe?
My Macedonian friend got it at a party.I don’t know if it is Macedonian or not though. It was made with layers of pudding and biscuit cookies and had blueberries on top.
It’s an actual cake you can cut in slices.
A: They make that everywhere. Layer your favorite cookies with whipped cream or pudding. Chill in the refrigerator to soften up the cookies, and serve with fruit.

Q: Have you ever sprinkled pudding on your Monkey Balls?!?
I just read a recipe that said to sprinkle butterscotch pudding mix on the biscuits…then drizzle the butter on before baking. Has anyone tried this? How did it turn out?
That IS a real recipe…some people call it ‘pull-apart-bread’, or other names.
Google ‘monkey balls’ or ‘monkey bread’….
A: No, but now I will! Thanks!
Q: I need help in finding gluten free recipes for Christmas.?
I’m looking for things like Christmas pudding, biscuits, chocolates etc…
A: Most good quality chocolate will be gluten free (GF), as wheat, rye, barley and oats are not natural components of chocolate. Just check the label to be sure.
You can make macaroons easily without flour (just use coconut or ground almonds as your main ingredient, and don’t add any flour, unless it’s rice flour). There are also a few bakes in this list of GF recipes:
http://www.the-health-site.com/articles/index.php?article=59
Christmas pudding is the difficult one. This one looks nice: http://www.peter-thomson.co.uk/glutenfree/christmas_pudding.html
The reason fresh suet is used is to avoid the flour normally used to coat the packet variety. If you can get GF packet suet, you will probably find it’s just as good. If not, I guess you could increase the quantity of GF breadcrumbs and add a couple of ounces of butter and maybe a bit more milk to moisten it up a bit. But a christmas pudding really should have suet in it – which helps to give it the proper texture, if you can get it.
